 Coloring this one was pretty much fun. It was great to be in a drawing-rush for a couple of weeks, but I'll have to stop myself for the moment  One more commission to go and I'll be all working on my portfolio and resume.- mermen rule the world! ^^ EDIT: oh gosh, thank you for the DD, comments and faves, I'm really honnored...  wow, this picture is amazing. You chose a wonderful composition for your coloring skills.
 this is amazing! really nice stuff, I particularly like the lighting effects on the (hair?), it has a real 3D effect to it, and gives the impression of depth. But I also wish those highlight were played up on other areas, like the fish for example, just so something else looked like it was interacting with it on the same level.
And I don't know what it is, but those eyes don't seem to match the rest of the picture to me.... they seem ..too big? or perhaps the darkness around the eyelashes, it appears cartoony to me and not in sync with the rest of the picture. this is so pretty, will you be submitting 100% views? Would love to see them.  |
